Finally I-485 is approved.. Don\'t believe July\'99

Finally, this process is over.. I am happy after a long wait..
here are my dates..

I-485

SRC : 000 69 XXXXX
Category : EB-3
RD : 11/19/1999 (Receipt date)
ND : 01/07/2000 (Notice Date) (This date is what matters).
PD : 05/15/1998 (Priority date).
FP : 05/30/2000 (Finger prints given)

Guys, checked the message yesterday.. \'This case has been approved...\'

Here are the details

SRC-00-107-XXXXX

EB3 (I am from India but my wife was born in \'OTHERS\'... so I was "cross charged" to OTHERS, according to my lawyer, although my wife and I did not apply together. She applied in Apr 2001 and needless to say her 485 is still pending.)

PD Oct 1998
RD Feb 22nd 2000
ND Mar 1st 2000
FP May 5th 2000
Approval July 23rd 2001

Waiting for the approval notice to arrive!

Yes, it\'s EB-3 INDIA, ND: 01/07/2000, PD: 05/15/1998, approved on 07/18/2001

APPROVAL DATE: 07/18/2000
 
Don\'t believe INS JULY 1999 dates.. Here is why..

2 weeks, back I called Mr. Khanna\'s office and asked them to call INS to find out how long it will take for my case to be approved..

The officer told Mr. Khanna\'s office that since my notice date is 01/07/2000, I will get my approval in the next 5 months..

Now after 2 weeks, since their feedback, I have my approval..

INS is UNPREDICTABLE...!!
