Finally Got my GC (2002)

Fellas,
I got my GC.
RD 06/2002.
FP 09/2004.
AD 11/2004.
SD 04/2005

Drama: Yeah it got approved in 11/2004. There was no intimation. Looking at the dates I called in Jan 2005. Opened up an inquiry. You all know what happens. Just got a letter stating they will look into my case. No response, so I called back again after 60 days. In two weeks I recevied a letter stating my case was approved in 11/04 so I should go get it stamped. No response on ethe inquiry for my wife. Opened another inquiry for my wife.

Both went to the local office and I rep said she can stamp but it may be messed up again because there is no approval letter. So the better thing would be to get the records the local office and then she can stamp. I said that ok. Waited for another two weeks and she called back sayign the recors are there.

Went in got stamped. With in two week I got the card too.

Thats my story.

Good part is: The card says resident since 11/04

Good luck everyone. 2002's and earlier: You will see the end of the tunnel pretty soon. :)

Can't believe even at the last stage of the process, USCIS can still do something to mess you up.
