Finally got approval for long wait, apr 2001 mailer

One questions about my wife\'s AVM: "Amended notice was mailed on 5/29, blah, blah"
Any one know what this message means? Thanks for your input.

My AVM is changed to "this case has been approved on 5/29, approval notice was mailed on 5/29, blah, blahs".

Case detail:
WAC-01-179-xxxxx
RD: 4/11, 2001
ND: 5/9, 2001
FP: 1/26, 2002 (wife\'s 2/14 2002)
AD: 5/29, 2002
 
never get RFE

I know that lots of apr mailer got delayed, don\'t know why. My origin country is China.
Any idea about my wife\'s AVM?
 
Forgot to mention: I am primary petitioner(H1), wife(H4)\'s case is based on mine

If mine was approved, isn\'t her case supposed to be approved?
 
To niwang, your wife should be approved if you are primary applicant.

AVM looks no approval for your wife. Maybe INS gave RFE for your
marriage certificate(The church certificate can\'t be allowed,
somebody on this board said) or asked her medical document(if your
wife was pregnant) again.If she was out off status before,
according to your RD, you need to pay $1000 penalty under 245(i).

No matter which case is, I don\'t think that your wife approval
has problem. Just wait for original notice and do something with
your attorney. Good luck.
 
I will check the notice once it comes

Our H visa is until Nov 2002, she also has EAD, AP. so she is on status.
Not sure what happen to her.
All my couple friends got approval together.
 
Wife\'s AVM changed today for approval

Check AVM again for wife\'s case, hear the magic words,
"this case has been approved, blah"
Her AVM is changed one day later than mine.
