After I did my interview on October the 27th, the officier told me that all my paperworks are ok and that he needs to apply for a Visa number and that I should hear from him within the next two weeks .... After 17 days of waiting, I have not heard anything from him, hence I took an info pass today and went to check on my case ... I was surprised to see that my case was approved on the 27th of October (the day that I got the interview) but i don't know why this clown did not tell me. I left my phone number with him and asked him to call me as soon as he got any news but he did not!!!!!!! ....

Anyway, I stamped my passport but later discovered that the officier forget to put the A# on the stamp ... During the stamping, the officier told me that my plastic card is being processed and will be sent to my address ... When I asked can you check my address, I was surprised to see that the INS stills have my old address ... Even if I updated my address on the phone, by letter, by fax and during my interview, they still have the old one ... But what can you say when a group of bozos are doing the job ...

Well I have couple of questions for the old timers:

1) Do you think that I should go to the local office again to add the A# or I can do it myself?

2) Anbody with an experience with address problem & plastic card, please your coments is more than welcome .....

For the record my wac is 02-173-5**** / April 2002

Thanks

Never, ever, alter the document your self.

Nope, it is San Jose ... There is no clear reason but I think it is because I come from a country within the special registration program ... The officier did not say anything during the interview ...
