Hi Phosmane,
you don\'t need too do anything, in my case when my -140 got approved for CP i also received a letter from NVC, i consulted my lawyer and she said just to ignore the letter from NVC and apply for I-485, i did the same and just waited, and everything went on fine.

We have started a discussion "Strategy for I-140 approved for CP but filed for AOS" with a goal of helping folks resolve delays associated with CP approved I-140 AOS application
While there is a high degree of correlation between a 3/4 months delay in approval and I-140 approved for CP cases, some very fortunate cases like yours got cleared in time.
Is there something we are missing? Could we proactively do something to avoid the delay down the road? Of course there is no logic for VSC asking for file from NVC when it was approved by them. My attorney did not do anything and advised me not to worry - but I have suffered in the past following the corporate attorney\'s instructions.
