I just wanted to mention to this forum that I just got an e-mail from USCIS that my I-485 has been approved. I am so glad that this is over with without having to resort to extreme measures that I was considering such as a writ of mandamus. I want to thank all of you for your kind support and feedback. I hope everyone who is waiting gets approved soon.
