Congrats.

Did you send email to DHS today or in the last few days ?
Just curious to know whether they initiated the email(that would be unbelievable) to you or were responding to your query.

I enquired sometime back and received reply asking to wait for 2-3 weeks and now I got mail from R. Cruz that our cases have been approved. I didn't ask them to inform me once a decsision has been made, I think it will be too much to ask for.

I haven't got the automated status update mail from USCIS case check page. I should be getting that Tomorrow Morning, that's my usual experiance. I get mail early morning at 6:30 from that automated site.

Could you share more details on contacting Senator Boxer

Congratulations on your approval! Could you share more details on contacting Senator Boxer? For example, do you mail the filled template to Senator Boxer's office or you just call? After the initial contact, do you have to call to follow up? Does the staff in the senator's office call you back to inform you of progress or you regularly follow up by calling in? How long does it take from your initial contact to the senator's office does contact FBI or USCIS? ...

I contacted senator Boxer's office. You can search on this using Google. Once you are on her site, you will find an area like Help regarding Immigration/Visa issues. In there there is a template they would like you to send the information in. Just follow that and you will hopefully get some help.

Thanks. mine is EB-3 and PD 11/7/2001. Hoping for good news soon according to Mr.Cruz e-mail saying that ' its under review it will take 30 days for processing.'..

For me he said 2-3 weeks, but got mail in 3-4 days saying its been approved. By-the-way, I got our cards today.
