My case got approved.

PD: Jan 13Th 1998 (it is 1998).
RD: Aug 20Th 2001 (it is 2001).
AD: May 6Th 2004.

Mine got approved and wife's case is still pending. Senator Santorum's office was very helpful. I can't beleive this, till I receive the approval notice. I do not have a account in rupnet.

I am kind of in the same boat. I filed in 09/2001 and still pending.
Can you let me know some details?
1).Where did you get stuck in?
2). have you got any Rfes?
3). How many finger prints did you get?
4). How the Senator office helped you?

1) I am not sure where my case got stuck.
2) I got a RFE for employment letter. Mine is not a AC21 case.
3) I had 2 Finger Prints. 2Nd one is about to expire in a month.
4) In Dec2003 I contacted senator's office regarding my pending case. They put an enquiry, in Jan 2004 INS issued a RFE. My lawyer moved to a different location and he did not update his address change with INS. Due to this reason my RFE was returned to INS by post office saying it is undelivarable. I contacted sentor's office again regarding this and with thier help, I received the RFE on Mid April 2004.

INS received reply to the RFE on 21 Apr 2004 and my case was approved on
May 6Th 2004.

Senetor Santorum's office was very helpful.

It's OK and I understand the feeling.
My case was filed in 09/2001 and still no progres except I was told it is under name check.
Did you ever run into a name check delay?

My wife's case was not approved yet. Probably it may have stuck for the same reason. Would you mind to let know how to verify the name check.

Well if you send an inquiry asking the status of your wife's case and got an answer as "under name check at FBI" then you can call (202)324 2399 and leave the name, DOB, and Alien Registration number then they will call back to tell you if the name check is cleared.
I called last week and still waiting for response.
