My Spouse was waiting for her approval and finally one year after mine was approved, we got the approval notice (although we filed together)....Was long wait...Thanks to forum for support and Good Luck for everybody waiting for approvals.

What did you do for your spouse to get approval ? also did you
went for interview ?? please let me know..

Called National enquiry in DEc 03...Got the reply back in written that currently cases are being processed for your month.

Next asked lawyer to fax enquiry on Jan 01.2004.

Called National service center on Jan 14 and was told that since you are past JIT, you should get approved very soon. They did not wanted to hear the primary/derivative story. Nor did they mentioned anything about 2nd FP.

Got the second fingerprinting notice on Jan 18 (the message for second FP never changed) and did FP on Jan 23.

Msg change to FP received and case resumed on Jan 27.

Was planning to call National service center on Feb 17th only but thought let me wait till tomorrow. (No. 9 has always been lucky for me...18 = 1+8=9).

Checked status on 18th to see the approval.

I was under the impression that these morons might have lost the file as Jan '02 - Jan '04 (No second FP in span of two years).

Just keep the hope and you should be getting yours pretty soon.
