Hi Guys...my case has been approved.

Here are the details:

RD - 04/10/2002
ND - 04/27/2002
FP - 07/19/2002 (1st FP)
FP - 05/20/2003 (2nd FP)
RFE - 12/04/2004 (Birth Certificate, Employment)
RFE received by BCIS - 01/09/2004
AD - 01/20/2004 (According to online status)

Received approval notices on 01/23/2004.

All three cases (me, wife and daughter) have been approved.

I have updated Rupnet also.

When was your RFE received by BCIS?

Mine RFE was received by BCIS on 12/10/03 still waiting...

I thought rfe that arrives on

particular days receive special attention. My impression was they are more efficient on Tue-Thu and not on Mon and Friday! But this proves just the opposite....
 
There was an analysis

some where else, either INS approves within 15 days of RFE receipt or after 3 months. I guess that justifies ur approval.

Can anybody tell me if INS automatically sends the second FP notice after 18 months?
my wife had her first FP taken in sep 02.
just wondering if she will get second FP notice automatically after 18 months.

Birth Certificate

Hi UTGC2002:

I am from India and I didn't had birth certificate. So I applied for one in 2002. Because this BC is issued long after the Birth, BCIS want secondary evidence. I sent affidavits from my parents along with the copy of a Ration Card.

Mahesh 999, Congrats!! Its interesting that you got a RFE on your case. Like yours, I didn't have BC and submitted affidavits from my family members. Even though I had received a non-availability certificate subsequently and was planning to send it as a response to a RFE, that never happened and I got the approval.
