My long wait for greencard is finally over.
Just got back from vacation, I saw approval letters sitting in
my mail box for me and my wife. Here is details of my case :
EB2 RIR
PD 08/00
RD 4/3/01
ND 4/24/02
FP 11/23/01
AD 05/20/02
My lawyer has not received the original approval letter.
Can I use courtesy copy for stamping ?
Thanks a lot to everybody in this board. Specailly PCee & rsrgc
you guys are doing great job. Can anybody share there recent
stamping experience in san jose. What all the documents I need
to take and what time I should be there ?

Congrats. People have posted that if you have appoval letter, then

you do not need to stand in the regular line, but can directly go to the appointment line.
Therefore, you can arrive at INS office at 7.00 AM instead of the unearthly hours as before.

I got my passport stamped in San Francisco. I had to take my Advance Parole, EAD card, 2 ADIT style photos (make sure your photos are to exact ADIT spec) and ofcourse your passport. Good luck with your passport stamping.

completed stamping today at san jose INS

Went there around 7.00 am, got inside INS within 5 minutes
after showing approval letter. I got the stamping for one year.
I was out of INS by 7.30 am.
