PD - Apr\'97
LC - Feb 28,2000 (Regular-non RIR) Almost 3 long years :-(
(NC-SESA and GA Regional Labor) Filed for I140 within a week
Apprd I140 - Mar 28,2000 (Just one month!
)
Filed for I485 within 2 days(!) No medical done
To beat the Mar 31 deadline (Apr\'2000-EB3 PD was retrogressing to Jan 97)
I485- RD - Mar 30,2000
ND - May 02,2000
Spouse FP - Jun 20,2000
Mine FP - Aug 2000
Spouse EAD- Aug 2000
Mine EAD- Mar 2001 (H1 expiring Jun,2001)
Sent Medical Forms on Jan 2001(Feb 2001, my EB3 PD became current!)
Recvd RFE - 1st week of Apr 2001 - for medical forms
Sent again Medical Forms next day (same one, another copy from same Dr.)
I485 AD! - May 10,2001
Passport stamped - May 18,2001
Waiting for the REAL GC!
No problem in AVMs - Always said appropriate messages
Stamping experience: Louisville KY
7:30am - Went to the INS office.
25-30 people had already taken ticket no.(probably issued at 7.15 a.m)
8:00am - The officer again started giving the ticket nos.
8:05am - I was assigned a Ticket No..
9:45am - our no. was called. went to the officer along with my spouse.
9:50am - We got our PP stamped. just signature and fingerprinting
Thanked the officer and left INS. INS officer was very polite and helpful.
Applied an amended SSN Card to have Work Authorization claused removed
from our SSNs which says needs INS approval to work.
Good Luck guys. Now I have to wait for my Plastic Card.
