Guys,
Finally GC approved. Here is the email I received yesterday...

Receipt Number: LIN04XXXXXXXXX

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On June 28, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

But, I would appreciate if you could provide insights in my spouse's case:

My 485 was filed Dec 2003. Got married in 2005 and filed my wife's 485
June 15, 2007 (wife is on H4). Since my GC is approved, how does it affect my wife's status.
Is there anyone in the situation as I am?

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Good luck to all those who are waiting to get approved.

Thanks.

You are safe since her application was filled before your approval. my wife is in same situation. Her H4 is no longer valid now. Wait for EAD and AP and long wait for GC.

Guys,
I received my PR card yesterday. I am more worried now about my wife's 485 status.

I got an email indicating that my 485 was approved on June 25th. But my card indicates that Resident since June 04, 2007.

But my wife's 485 was filed on June 13, 2007.

Experts, do you think this would cause any issues for my wife's 485.

Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.

As you have filed your wife's I485 before your petition is approved, she is protected. If she is working, then she should stop working until she get her GC or atleast her EAD.

Dont worry about the "Premanent residence since June 04, 2007" thing. My GC got approved in Jun 18th but my card says the June 4 2007. There seems to be some technical issues with NSC. Your card is supposed to expire after 10 years from the "premanent residence since x" date but that date will show 10 years from the actual approval date (which is right). So this proves that there is some flaw in their system.

I am in same boat...I got approved...but my wife is technically on H4 before. I filed her application on Jun 4th and I got my approval on June 29th (although approval date in the card is Jun 4th).

What will be her status? She didnt get her Receipt number yet?

Did anyone filed on or after Jun 4th received their receipt from NSC???? Please help.

Check out the thread from MohitFL - one can use "Follow to Join" clause and still apply 485 for wife....even after one's GC approval...

In fact, MothitFL just did that...he filed for I485 for his wife after his approval....I believe the key is that one should be married before the I485 approval date....as long as that's true....one can use the "Follow to Join" clause...
