Finally - 485 Approval!

Finally received the 485 approval for both me and spouse! Felt more of a relief than elation after this long wait.

PD - Sep 2001
485 RD - Dec 2002
FP - Sep 2004
RFE (legal stay) - Nov 2004
AD - Dec 2004
EB3

Needless to say that this forum has been a great help. Thanks to everyone contributing their bit.

Good luck to those who are still waiting; its easier said than done but "wait patiently".

Would anyone suggest the further steps for infopass? I checked the website but it keeps saying "no more appointments available for the area, check back later". Any tricks there?

Hello Solong,

Please help us with our RFE. We also got the RFE "Proof of Legal Status for certain period". It has updated online for both myself and spouse. But I am the only one received the RFE by mail. I am the primary applicant. My question to you is, have you received the RFE for your spouse also. If not have you submiited any documents for your spouse also though he/she did not received RFE?

Please let me know.

HCTSC_03: Its happening to everyone these days. In my case thought both of us got a RFE message online only i the primary received the RFE (for EVL). I suggest that u include all the relevant docs for your wife as well in the RFE response. Also in the cover letter make a mention that your spouse(derivative) info i also attached.

Regarding RFE: We did get for both me and spouse and responded back with what they asked for - passport copies with stamps (although lawyer advised only the ones with visa), 797s, I-94, APs etc.
