Final GC Process Qs.

Hi! I applied for my parents for Permanent Residency and they have gone through the whole process, have gotten their passports stamped at the Embassy with sealed envelopes and are now required to enter the United States. I am not sure what happens next and was wondering if any one could answer the following questions:

1) What are they to expect at the airport (the procedure)?

2) Does it matter which port they enter from? I have heard processing is a lot faster through certain states.

3) Upon entering the USA do they then have to fill out some form to get their green card in the mail or does it automically come when they enter the USA? Also, how long will it take for them to receive their green card in the mail?

4) Can they leave the country without their green card, as they want to return to wrap things up and then come and finally settle here?

If someone can answer these questions, I'd really appreciate it.

----------- they will the sealed envelopes at POE or US airport and officer will take index fingerprint and signature on white card ( they need to provide the correct US address with zip code)
2) Does it matter which port they enter from? I have heard processing is a lot faster through certain states.
--they can enter through any POE
3) Upon entering the USA do they then have to fill out some form to get their green card in the mail or does it automically come when they enter the USA?
-------- Yes, the POE officer will handle that as replied for item1
Also, how long will it take for them to receive their green card in the mail?
----------- 4-6 weeks minimum
4) Can they leave the country without their green card, as they want to return to wrap things up and then come and finally settle here?
---------- if they dont get the actual Card then take infopass and they need to get passport stamped from Local USCIS office.
----------if they try to go out of US without actual GC(with passport stamped) they may need Transit visa to take a flight for US( depending on your parents citizenship )
