Final Approval from USCIS

I got my final approval letter from USCIS on nov, 2nd. It took only one week after DOS sent favourable recommendation. So this is my complete timeline

1. Getting NORI From INDIAN authorities (took almost 8 months)
Jan 5, 2007 - Notarised forms and affidavits sent to chicago Indian embassy
Jan 21, 2007 - Attested Documents return back to me (to be sent to authorities in India)
Jan 23, 2007 - Attested documents sent to parents in India
Feb 6, 2007 - Documents received in India
March 24, 2006 - Received New Delhi MHRD 'NORI'
June, 2007 - Received Chandigarh Passport Office 'NORI' (collected and sent by my father). I never got a copy direcly from them.
Sept 18, 2007 - Received scanned copy of Home Ministry Haryana (Chandigarh) 'NORI' sent by my father
Sept 19, 2007- NORIs and other documents with $20 fees sent to Chicago Indian Consulate. I sent photocopies of NORI from passport office n home govt.

2. Case timeline with DOS (took 1 month after receiving documents by them)
Sept 11, 2007 - DS 3035, fee ($215), case no. and other documents sent to DOS
Sept 21, 2007 - DOS showed online- all documents received
Oct 1, 2007 - Waiver Certificate received frm chicago Indian Consulates (one copy forwarded to Indian Embassy in Washington DC)
Oct 15, 2007 -Waiver Certificate received by Indian Embassy and sent to DOS
Oct 18, 2007 - DOS receives Waiver Certificate (No Objection Statement from Indian Embassy)
Oct 22, 2007 - DOS sends Favorable Recommendations (shows online Oct 23)
Oct 24, 2007 - USCIS receives DOS recommedation
Oct 31, 2007 - USCIS approves waiver
Nov 2, 2007 - Received final approval notice from USCIS

However, I did not get recommendation letter from DOS. But that doesnt matter If you get final approval from USCIS.
