Filling I-90

Dear members,

I searched the Forum for similar questions/answers with no luck. If the question is not appropriated for this thread, please let me know where I should go.

I am currently filling the I-90 form to replace my card and I am trying to figure out how to correctly answer some the questions there. My city of residence is Philadelphia but my I-485 was applied and approved at CSC (the company that sponsored me is located there).

I bieleve that for the "City of Residence where you applied for an Immigrant Visa or Adjustment of Status" I should use Philadelphia. For the "Consulate where Immigrant Visa was issued or INS office where status was Adjusted" I should select California Service Center.

Also, about the "Port of Entry where Admitted to U.S." and "Destination in U.S. at time of Admission", since I had my status adjusted here I should answer N/A.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Regards,

--Reason for replcement???????
if any error on the Card then I think you need to Visit local USCIS office and file I-90 with Local USCIS office and point out the mistake on card then the Immigration officer will correct it in CLAIMS and will take your Fingerprints, signatures on white form and will attach the Photographs to form I-81 and will send it to Card production unit(I think officer will send it to VSC). the officer will take your present Card and you should request officer to stamp your passport so that if delay in new card you can use that stamp for travel.

-------if you are at present residing in Philadelphia then visit Philadelphia Local USCIS office.

My advise

Brazilnut, any posting that does not draw any responses for over 2 weeks, such as yours, can be explained by two reasons: a). none of the fellow immigrants had such an experience. b). Your case is way too complex and in order not to waste any of your precious time, you should contact or hire an fee-based legel professional immediately.

I have filed I-90 recently at L.A. field office and received my GC in less than a month. However, I am not sure how similar our cases are. If you wish to learn more, please browse the thread indicating "I-90 filing".

Many thanks

Ginnu & Mr. F,

Many thanks for your feedback. I do understand that this Forum is based only on the good will of the members sharing their own experiences. I truly appreciate that.

I will be replacing a lost/misplaced card probably filling the I-90 electronically. I could go to Philadelphia but the available Infopass appointment dates are two weeks away. I hope the I-90 application will be processed at CSC where things are moving faster (compared to VSC; far from what it should be).

I will definitely share my experience in this Forum.

Best regards and a happy 2005!
