filling I-485 - is there need for I-94?

I am USC, married to non-USC who is overseas. Our I-130 got approved.
How soon should i fill out I-485 ( and should i wait for her I-94 before i do that)?
Thanks a lot for any input.
 
I understand that...but does she fill it out when she enters the US or could she do it without I-94?
 
Go to uscis.gov and found out the procedure.

If she is going through CP (Consular Process) there is NO I-485. AOS or I-485 is only if the immigrant is in the US, one of the form request her I-94 or the card that she was given when she last entered means that she was inspected.

Since she is overseas and is not inside the US, then I assume that she will be going through CP which is another process.

For Consular processing you should go to the webpage of the Consular office in her country.
