Filling I-485 for Spouse(H4) ...Please help

Dear friiends,
I am on H1 visa. I have applied for my I-485, I-131,I-765 and received EAD & AP.

I got married last month and bring my wife(H4) along with me. Now i wants to apply for her Green card.

My I-140 & I-485 is still pending, I -140 may get approve in 1 or 2 month....

My Q's is... Should i wait to file till my I-140 get approve? Or i can file now because (EB1 is current now)

I have filed my I-485 in March 2003 and filing spouse I-485 in Feb 2005....How her file can join my file... Do i have to mention anything with her file?

Do i have to file I-134 affidavit of support?

i would not wait and apply for her 485 right away. ead and ap is up to you whether you want to keep 'H' visa or not...just research here if you dont know the pros and cons...also remember you will have to renew her h-4 separately whenever you renew ur H-1.

for the list of docs for her 485 application, seems like you got it covered. IMHO, you dont need i, k, m and its subsets below. i would also add the 'checks' made out to USCIS (didnt see it on your list) both for 485 and her FP.

i am sending 4 checks for fees

· Check: Payment in the amount of $315 for Form I-485
· Check: Payment in the amount of $165 for Form I-131
· Check: Payment in the amount of $175 for Form I-765
Check: Payment in the amount of $70 for fingerprinting

Where to send the 485 application of espouse!!!

Hi folks,

My 485 is pending for employement based GC and I am trying to file 485 application for my wife myself .

Now my question is , to which Service center I should send her 485 application, my application is being processed at Vermont , so do I have to send her application also to Vermont Service center or Chicago, IL(which is listed for family based category). Is her application part of employement based category or Family based category ?

I will really appreciate all the help if someone can tell me where to file her appilcation. Thanks in advance for all the help.
