I want to file my N-400 soon, but we will be moving to the states within the next 6 months. Would it be better for me to just file in the states? I'm thinking it might take some time to transfer my file. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

Are we to assume that you are married at least 3 years to US citizen in military under and under LPR status ?

Unless you want to loose your German citizenship you need to file for a BBG first.
If you miss that, there is no way back.

Sorry, I'm new to the site and didn't think of all the info to include.

I have been married to a US citizen for 6+ years, I have had my GC since 2003.
My husband is stationed in the military and we have been stationed in Germany for 4 years. I am a citizen of Canada.

I don't know, if the residency (90) applies to military spouses. If NOT, I'd wait and file here, if, I'd file from abroad.
