filing of EAD and Adv Parole

My employer is filing 485 but does not want to file EAD and Advance Parole.

1. Can I file EAD and Adv Parole myself personally?

2. If I file them personally, will that affect my case in any way?

3. If I do file them, will the emplyer know that information in any way (as in will INS send that information to the employer?).

4. Has anyone of you faced this problem before?

As far as I know, 485 is ur own application so u should be able to do so,still u should wait for couple of more responses from any of senior members here

Yes You can. You need copy of I485 Receipt
what is the status of your I140??

No It won't, provided you have your I140 apporved.

The EAD card will come directly to you and AP will go the Lawyer who filed the case. If you hire new lawyer then the AP will go to him. The receipts will will go the lawyer.

Yes i did and i did file my I485 ,EADand AP by myself(hired new lawyer) as my employer (A..hole) didnot agree to file concurrenlty.
My I140 is still pending ND 07/07/2003.

2. Can I apply this myself without hiring a lawyer, in that case will the AP also come to me directly ?

No. But you need copy of I140 receipt to file I485 ,EAD & AP

I think you can search the forums for ppl who applied EAD and AP by themslves.
