Filing N-400 and travel

Hi, I’m eligible to file N-400 for Naturalization but holding as I have an upcoming travel in late Oct and out of country for 2+ months, thinking what if Biometrics interview is scheduled while I’m not in United States. Please advise what I should do. Should I file once all my travel is done? which will be after 4 months.

When Biometrics will be scheduled from date of filing N-400?
 
Usually within 30-45 days. Some locations allow you to walk in earlier than your appointment date which is obviously a YMMV situation.
