Filing I-485 but no SSN

I am filing I-485 for myself and my wife but she is on H4. She have recently applied for Social Security .

My question is can I file I-485 for her even though she doesn't have SSN# but a valid H4 visa.

Please help.

----------------if she did not got SSN then dont write her SSN as she does not have. if before sending I-485 she gets SSN then write.
write her I-94# and attach copy of her valid I-94 (front and back) H4 dont get SSN but after they get EAD they can get SSN. writing SSN is not must if one does not have. They need only valid status and if her I-94 is valid on the date I-485 reach USCIS then no problems

Please help.

Hi,

With this June Bulletin, my PD becomes current. I am ready to file for AOS. Do I need to submit all the copies of H4 for my wife and son too.

with your I-485 you need to submit YOUR valid I-94 Copy (front and back of I-94)
for you wife I-485 she has to submit HER valid I-94 (front and back)
Son also need to do the same with his I-485.

* you , your Wife, son has also to attach copy of all the passport pages.

Thanks for the reply. I have all the documents you mentioned. Just to confirm, I DONT need to submit all H4's approval notice for my wife and son, right? One more question. I have two sons, first one was born in India and the other one is a US Citizen. Do I need to show my second son who is a US Citizen in I-485?

------------on your I-485 you will show/write your second son as US Citizen. your wife I-485 form should also show that.
