Filing h1b for fiance (wrt h4)

Hi

I am currently on h1b and getting married in early May. Wanted to file h1b for my wife through a consultant on April.

1) if she gets an h1b visa, can she still get an h4 in May and come with me to US?Would there be any problems with getting the h4. Would she then have to go back to India after oct 1 and get her passport stamped with h1 and renter US on h1b

2) if she does not get an h1b, she can stillcome with me on h4.

are there any problems that may happen with this approach?
