Filing GC for F1 spouse

My wife has greencard and filed I-130 petition for me in 2003 when I was on F1 visa/status. Petition was approved in 2005. At that time I was on H1-B status and still maintaining that. Now my wife became citizen and I would like to upgrade my petition so that I can file I-485 and other documents.

Question: When petiiton was filed, I was on F1 status (non-immigrant intent) and now I am filing for GC with immigration intent. Would it be a problem at time interview now and any possibility of rejection.

No problem at all. I was from F-1 to LPR too and the officer never asked me anything regarding my status during the interview.

One question, have you travelled abroad since your spouse filed I-130 for you? Have you experienced any problem when you reentered U.S.?

Thanks for the reply. I have not travelled abroad after filing I-130. Not because of this reason, but I changed status from F1 to H1 and didn't want to go to consular for visa stamping. But I am sure travelling abroad while I-130 is pending will not affect, as it doesn't change your current status. Also this information will not be available to consular offices abroad or immigration officers on port-of-entry. Once your petition is approved and you file AOS, then you should be careful.
