First of all I would like to give a quick history about my case: I am from India, I have a US post-graduate degree and I have also worked in the states for 6 years. My H1B visa expired last year, and I got a job here in Canada, so I moved to Canada on a work visa. I have applied for Canadian permanant residency (PR), which I will be getting it by this year end. But, I would like to go back to the states.
My question is, at the time of filing for my H1B again-
Is there any H1B cap exemption for a foreign student who has graduated from a US university?
Does having a Canadian PR count?
what is the approximate wait time for H1B visa?
Would appreciate if anybody could advice me. Thankyou very much.
