Filing for H-1B after using EAD

Hello All,
I want to start working for an employer on my EAD (from I-485) as they want to me start ASAP. (cant wait for H-1 receipt notice).
My question:
Can I start with them on my EAD and then file for H-1B visa after I join. ? I neeed a H-1 to sposnor a H-4 for my sposue.

Some people say that I lose my right to file for a H-1B as soon as I use my EAD, is that true at all.?

Not true

But file for H1 (need not wait for receipt ) now before joining using EAD. As long as the new h1 has validity(not necessarily from day 1 ) with your new employer, you can safely move back to h1...
