Filing for EAD - when does the countdown begin

I have reviewed the CIS site and the postings on this website but still dont know when the countdown for the I -765 – Employment Authorization Document (EAD)begins?

Is it after the fingerprinting/biometrics or when they send the notice of action (receipt). Please advise if you know.

For example. I received my NOA on May 23. But my Biometrics appt is not till July 27. So should I count "60-90" begining May or July????

90 days from when the USCIS receives your application.

Generally its after the notice date for processing ( around 60 days), and receive date for interim EAD (for 90 days).
What is you DO?. Some people are getting walk in FP/BIO
