Filing for a green card?

Hi,
I am italian and I have a NATO5 visa. I got married with an american citizen,
and I am thinking to apply for a green card.
Has anybody some suggestion?
Does anybody know how to proceed?
I would really appreciate any kind of help.

Yes I am currently in US under the NATO-5 visa.
I am a NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) Expert.
