I have paid my taxes for 2009, but still plan to apply for an extension to file my tax return - been too busy at work. Would this be an issue at my interview next week? I plan to take copies of my returns for the last 5 yrs to the interview just in case.

I guess you would send the extension in a certified mail....Take the original/photocopy of the receipt (with an IRS address on it). Just to be on safer side.
