Hi All,
I have been silent reader of various forums. I have some questions about filing 140 and 485 (I am not sure whether this is the right forum or not).
I have got my Labor filed thru my current company in CA (under Non-RIR in 2002). As you all know, the cases (Non_RIR) CA cases are not being processed. They are sending all those cases to BEC's.
In the mean time, one company (small consulting company in New Jersy and New Hampshire) offered me a substitute labor (labor is already approved). I am trying to how risky it is file 140/485 from that company. I am not planning to join the company till GC approved.
Are there any problemes with this approach? People say as GC is meant for future employee, there is no problem with it.
However I have the following questions
1) Suppose if I file 140 and 485, if some problem comes either in 140 or 485, can I file 140 and 485 thru my current company (assuming my labor got appoved from CA)?
2) Can I withdraw 485, after filing it?
Any help would be greatly appreaciated
