Filed under 245(i) and EAD.

Hi All,

Just wondering if person filed under section 245(i) before April 30, 2001(EB3) need to renew EAD card or not. I-140 been approved and now waiting for
I-485 approval. I am thinking if I already filed under 245(i) may be I can just wait until they approve my I-485. Thank you for your help.

Yeah I am working and my employer is not asking any documents now. So should I renew my card or just wait since I filed under 245(i).

Working once the EAD expired would be considered illegal employment. If your employer did ask for valid documents and you no longer had a valid EAD, you could be fired on the spot with no recourse, and you wouldn't be eligible for UI.
