Filed through my spouse before his I-485 got approved

Hi,

I'm currently on H1 status and married. My spouse got his green card approved and mine did not come through yet. I had my finger prints taken couple months back. However, both of us did not file I-485 at the same time. I filed a year after him, but put a petition to process both of our I-485 together.

My receipt date is June 2004 and the current processing date for I-485 in Vermont Center is Aug 12, 2004. Not sure what my next steps are.

Please shed light if anyone else in the same boat.
