I am filing for OCI card for me and my child. October 22nd I mailed all the paperwork to New York Indian Embassey. On November 10th I received a call from Embassy saying that I have not attached a money order for my child. So again I have mailed money order to Embassy. But so far there is no online status. It is making me to worry.

I have mailed new york embassy this morning? Did anyone gone through the same situation? What I should do now?

Please advice.

I use to call Prabhu dayal or shashi kumar's number because other numbers they done even pick up the phone.

Insist on speaking to someone in OCI. they do not have cases on computer so they have to check manualy if your application has been received.

I did it for my application and after call 3 times I was able to find that they have received my application.

If you are in new york and can visit consulate that will work too. but people who work there they dont give you straight answers so be tough.
