I had filed Green card for my mother as AOS, while she is here on visiter visa. Recently, she has received finger printing notice.

My question is that if her GC does NOT happen before her return date, shall I file for her visa extension?

Also, if her GC gets rejected and if she stays here beyond her return date, will it be considered as Over stay?

Please share your knowledge and experience.

Thanks,

The pending AOS allows her to stay in the US legally until the case is decided, so there is no need for an extension (and it wouldn't be approved anyway; she already lost her tourist status by filing for AOS).

If the AOS is denied, she would immediately become unlawfully present starting with the denial date.

Hello,

After finger printing, what are the next steps and when normally they inform about denial/rejection if any?

Also, after finger printing, what are the chance of denial/rejection?

Thanks,

Are you serious? There are 10,000000 reasons for rejection. If you want to go through all the what if scenarios, get an attorney, pay them, and provide them with ALL the details of your case. You won't receive an answer to your question on a forum where one only provides the basics of a petition.

What are the possible reasons for rejection/denial at this stage?
