Filed for I-485 on March-16 (date on receipt )

My I-485 along with my wife and daughter was filed in March (VSC receipt has filing date 03/16/01 ) . All of our FP were done in August-01 . I haven\'t heard anything since than . When I call the Automated Voice Service of VSC it doesn\'t recognize the EAC number I put in . Do I need to worry about ? Should I take some action ? Please help ,
 
Not a problem

If you can you can call up VSC and notify them, but it is difficult to get through..
Usually this problem is automatically rectified when they update the Voice System.

Thanks for your reply . Are they procesing March/01 now ? Mine was filed in EB2 (No EAD /AP filed along it) .

Need Help, Please

I filed in March and have a filing receipt as of 03/16/2001, my FP (finger Prints) were done on 08/23/2001 . However I never received a ND (Notice Date ??) . Is it something my lawyer would have got ? Or am I missing something here ? Please help . My lawyer didn\'t file any thing (AP and EAD ) for me and says if I want to switch job he can file them (AP and EAD) now . Is it right to get it filed now and wait whichever comes first (485 or EAD/AP ) and switch job ? My lawyer says there is a way I can switch jobs right after he files EAD/AP , is there any problems doing that ?

I\'ll really appreciate if someone replied as I\'m so confused because I didn\'t took interest in this before hand .
