Hello
Please I need some advice here. My husband went for a b1/b2 interview this morning and was refused.
He was told there is nothing showing he will return to his country. So if he wants to still go to the USA he should file the I-130 together with his wife for legal status in the USA.
My question now is he was asked is your wife a LPR or USC and he said she is a USC.
But on his DS 160 which I filled out and he went through I checked that I was aN LPR and I was his wife he was coming to visit.
He said the officer didn't say anything than apply for 130 together with your spouse. Now I just applied for citizenship a week ago. I haven't even received my NOA1.
Now I am scared this will hurt me in my naturalization process and also when I have to file for him..
Please advice us please...
PS: he didn't understand the whole and how it works I guess and why he said that.

Thank you in advance!

It won't hurt you; you didn't claim to be a USC. He told the officer wrong information; it could hurt him, but not necessarily.
