What the heck is wrong with these puny lawyers... why don't they read the instructions?!![]()
only if they forgot to include something like a payment.I wonder has anyone who sent it to chicago got anything back?
dan12345, did you get married and filed in the same month?

Now, those who sent it to the wrong location usually get the entire package back. Sometimes the USCIS i nice enough to forward it to Chicago Lockbox (or Lee's Summit, MO) themselves.
finally I got 4 NOA papers today
The date on them says received May 4th, does that mean my laweyer actually sent them in early May not March like I thought?
Or are they just taking 2 months to open the mail in chicago?
Does this mean that you think yours will be sent to Texas from Chicago or did you mean that your lawyer sent them to Texas directly? If your lawyer sent them to Texas in March, then it might make sense that Chicago finally got them and opened them in early May.I think its the texas center it would go to we are in the south my sister would have been Vermount.
I mailed mine to Chicago on May 2nd USPS and it was delivered on May 4th. I received my NOA's today and they all have a Receipt Date of May 5 and Notice Date of May 9th. So mine were not delayed at all.
