Hi Friends,

Today I got letter from local congress man office, saying my case is with the adjudicating officer.

What does this mean to me? Any idea how long will it take from here? few days, few months? MyRD jan03.

Any response will be appreciated

thanks

OneMoreStupid,

thanks for response.. YOu mean 1-3months or 3-6 months..

Others.. Please need your feed back too..

Generally it should be in the range of 1 -3 Months, but if the Officer is really very lazy then it can take for ever.......

My case is with adjudicator for the 5th month already. I did two inquiries and spoke to VSC rep. - case was sent to adjudication area in early December 2004. Now I am getting the "luck of manpower" version from the list of standard delay responses.

RD: 03-26-2003
FP2: 09-30-2004
Applied EAD3: 03-17-2005

you need to be lucky if it is with an officer with some work ethics. My case given to IIO on March 17th (as told by congressmen's office) and it got approved on March 29th. I got a lucky break atleast once in the GC process :)

How do you know the exact date(3/17/05) the file went to adjudicating officer?

In my response from Congressman, it says as of 3/23/05 the file is with Adj Officer (don't know when it went).

Others,

Any one with same Response, please post your experience.

thanks

Count me in

I got a reply from the local congressman's office that my case has been assigned to an officer on 03/24/2005. No LUDs since then.
