File transferred by mistake, anyone in the same boat?

Just curious, my file has be transferred to National Record Center (whatever that is) by mistake (???), I am wonderring how often this happen.

I am not sure if this helps but my files were transferred to the Miami local office by mistake. It took me about 5-6 months to get them back to TSC and I believe I was lucky that they got them back.

I would suggest that your lawyer get in touch with an AILA representative who can actually talk to an officer within the service center. Your lawyer can also try to call TSC and start an inquiry. The point is to convince TSC to get the files back.

I do remember a similar case but can't seem to find it. Do a search on the forums and you will be able to find a similar case.
