File Transfer - Passport Not Stamped

I had my I-485 interview in the Boston District office on November 21, 2000, however my passport was not stamped. I was told that part of my file was in the NSC (not sure how this happened) but now I am waiting for the file transfer to complete so that I can have my passport stamped. Does anyone know how long it is taking for file transfer requests to complete? Did anyone have similar experience or does anyone have any other information that might be helpful? Thank you.

My 485 case has been delayed because VSC is retrieving my A-file from Washington, DC. I don\'t know how this happened either.
