My attorney made phone enquiry on 9/07 and found out that my file was given to an officer on 1st Sept. I found my LUD changed to 09/08 within one-hour time i checked for second time and i found that my LUD changed to 09/09. It is now 14 days since with officer, how many days usually one takes to approve?

Not to disappoint you, but my file has been sitting with an officer for a month and a half. Nobody knows how CIS works.

But you told that you were already approved.

Maybe ruxrux meant that his file was with the officer for a month and a half before he was ultimately approved ?

Or in other words: after he got to know that his file was with an officer, it took 45ish days for the approval (which means the file could've been with the officer for longer than that )

maybe CIS officers likes to sleep with different files before they find a new one....maybe that gets them excited..who knows...

It had been with the officer for a month and a half before he transferred me to SJ. That is only counting from when I got that response from my lawyer at the beginning of June till July 12th when it was transferred.

Who knows how long the file was with the officer prior to my inquiry.

Nothing changed last week. Same Status

Same here

I had my attorney do an inquiry. She informed that my file was with an officer. No idea how long it has been there. My LUD changed soon after she did the inquiry.

Same here. I put two fax inquiries myself with NO response from INS (or BCIS or whatever the crap they call it). The day my attorney put an inquiry there was a change in LUD (i.e., 9/14). I do not know if it means that somebody is looking at the file or they opened the file put the inquiry sheet and put it back on the shelf.
