File I-140 without Approval Letter with a request to get copy from DOL

Hi All

MY LC got certified on Aug 28 as per 202 and Online status.Still we have NOT received the approval letter.My attorney says that I can file I-140 without having original approval letter.I am Not sure that I can go for that.Even if I want to wait for Approval Letter.I don't know how long I can wait.

Please let me know what I can do on this.
