Hi all,
My labor cert is approved at the moment and my attorney is getting ready to file for my I-140 (EB2 category). However, I have to join a different project (but with similar job profile) under the same employer. The new position is in a different state. Is it more advantageous to file I-140 before I join the new team or it does not matter? I read somewhere that either for labor cert, I-140 or 485 filing the candidate should hold job in the same metro region, where the job advertisement was posted. Is it true?
If I change location after my I-140 is approved, will I have problem when filing 485?
And also, is it any beneficial to file I-140 under premium processing?
Thanks for the help.
