File for H4 while H1 under process

I'am currently in India and filing for my H1 this April (2007) through a US based firm.

Apart from this i'am also getting married (my fiance is currently in US on valid H1) in Apr/May this year.

My question is while my H1 is under process, can i file for a H4 to travel to US during the intermediate time frame (until Oct 07). Will my H1 application go through normally even when i travel to US in H4.

---- once you get married you can get H4 visa stamp and can come to US on H4
Will my H1 application go through normally even when i travel to US in H4.
--------------that H1 is new H1 and once approved it will not have I-94 attached you need to go out of US then get H1 visa and enter us on H1 status
Or
get married then get H4 visa reach US on H4 status and then file H4 to H1 Change of status and if H 4to H1 COS approved you will get I-94 attached with H1 approval notice and can start working on H1 from start date of H1

Can I travel to US on H4 if H1 is under process

Hi,

i have below questions , pls suggest
1. I have a valid H4 visa and currently in india. I want to know if i can travel on H4 when my H1 visa is under process.
2. will there be any issue in H1 processing.
3. If my h1 visa is approved what are the next steps to be followed to start work in US
