file consolidation?

HI!!! I had my citizenship interview almost 4 month ago I was told that no decision could be made yet that a file consolidation was needed but no further action on my part is required at this time
I waited for almost 120 days and still no response what should I do my green card is about to expire (one month) should I renew it? any advice is appreciated thanks
 
You should:
1) Write a letter to the officer who interviewed you and request to complete the processing on your case.
2) Send a letter to the Director/Officer-In-Charge of your DO asking for status update.
3) Contact the Congressman's and Senator's office to ask for their help.
4) Take a InfoPass appt. and go to the local DO and check on the status of your case.
5) If you don't have to travel, you can hold off on renewing the green card, as you may be taking the oath really soon and will have to return the green card.

after 5 years of waiting.:mad::mad:.. I sent letters to the california senator then I took like 10 info passes but nothing seems to work :confused::confused:then I gave up... but :eek::eek:thankz god this month I`m going for the oath ceremony:D:D
