"File at Examinations"- What does that mean?

I am one of the unfortunate 2001 filers still hanging around. In reply to my latest inquiry (second one) I was told that my "file is at Examinations for review"? Does anyone know what that means? FYI, my first inquiry in early May said "file is with an officer".

my status is also the same

first time i approached local congressmen..they got the same reply as you. 'file with the examinar'. i dont know what that mean.

kalki- How long have you been waiting on this status? Is there any special situation for you? Nothing special for me, at least to my knowledge.

I am wondering whether this is good or bad news for me. Is it that they are not satisfied with a particular document and need to examine it or is it that the adjudicator could not make a decision and had passed it on to a more specialized group for review? God knows when this suffering will end?

Anybody who has gone through a similar situation/response please reply.
