file 485 without employment letter? need your help

I have approved LC and I140 from Company A but I-485 not filed because of the regression. I left company A for company B on 5/14/07. Now I am finally entitled to file 485 on June 1.

Company A provided me a letter saying: They will reemploy me after I get my the green card for the purpose of completing my projects. The title will be XXX; the salary will be no less than XXX. The job duty will be XXX.

My lawyer said that it sounds like a temperary offer rather than a permanent offer, so he did not want to use it. He suggested to file 485 without employement letter. Then if I am lucky, 180 days after filing 485, I can apply AC21.

My question is that if I file 485 without employment letter, what may happen, especially in the first 180 days?

---------------------but if they ask RFE BEFORE 180 days or send NOID before 180 days???? did you ask this to your lawyer??? I will try to get permanent job offer and send it with I-485. In the past this trik has worked but now USCIS may approve I-485 less than 180 days (if PD remains current)
My question is that if I file 485 without employment letter, what may happen, especially in the first 180 days?

------------------ let your lawyer draft the letter get it signed by A and send it with I-485

I am sad that the above letter is the only one I can get. Company A is reluctant to sign on a permanent offer. I want to take a risk to submit the letter as it is, then pray it not to be processed within 180 days.

Will it cause deny if I submit the letter as it is?

I have another letter which Company A sent to me in January informing my salary in Company A in 2007 will be XXX as a zzz(job title). Can I send that one?

i am in a similar boat.Just that my employer is not ready to file for 485..he wants me wait..not sure how long..what you think..Even i was thinking of filing without employment letter. Do you have any idea what kind of RFE can we expect if they get to the application before 180 days...and if the RFE is for employment verification how could we handle at the later point..

--------------USCIS can deny the I-485 or can send NOID or RFE
...and if the RFE is for employment verification how could we handle at the later point..
