Fiancee want to file k1 but overstayed one

Can you Help,

My fiancee wants to file for K1 visa so I can go and marry her in America. The Question I have is that I overstayed my visa waiver one but less than the 180 days that is mension. Will this Effect anything ?

You may need an I-601 approval before a K-1 visa can be issued to you. However this comes at the consulate stage of the K-1 process. For the initial stage, your fiancee' needs to submit an I-129F for you.
