hi i am a newbee to this forum.recently my 485 dates have become current.

my h-1 expires by april 2007,since i am filing for 485 do i need to apply for 7th yr extention?if so how many months proir does one need to file for h-1 extention?

can i travel to my home country after filing for 485 and h-1 extentions?my i-94 is valid till april 2007.

can i still continue to be on h-1 while if my wife wants to work once ead is approved can she use ead?i do not want to use my ead.

is it possible for my h-4 spouse to get h-1 extentions beyond 6 yrs once her name is included in 485?

do we get 3 yr h-1 extentions?i heard its only for those whose i-140 is approved,but cannot file 485 due to retro.our i-140 is approved,but 485 is current,so can we still get 3yr h-1 extentions?

------- Yes, you need to be in US when file I-485. for entry to US you need valid H1 visa stamp or valid AP

---one can get 3 year H1 extension if I-140 is approved and lawyer writes on form I-129 and gets LCA for 3 years that is attached with H1 Ext filing papers

*****you do not need to apply, but i prefer to apply because its on the safer side, in case 485 gets denied***
